PUBLISHED CLIENT PROJECT

Aurelius Protective Services

A public website, an officer onboarding portal, and an operations console for a Western Australian security business, plus the ongoing social media management that keeps it in front of new clients.

THE BACKGROUND

Aurelius Protective Services delivers physical security and protective intelligence across Perth and Western Australia: static guarding, mobile patrols, crowd control, and asset protection, run across 50+ Tier 1 Perth sites with 50+ WA-licensed officers. SyntricTech is Aurelius’s sole technology partner: we built and maintain the public website, the officer onboarding portal, and the operations console, and we run their ongoing social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn as an active monthly engagement, not a one-off build.

THE CHALLENGE

A public site that converts. A back office that holds up.

A security business runs on two things a spreadsheet handles badly: trust and paperwork. Prospective clients need a site credible enough to hand over site access to; officers need a way to get onboarded, licensed, and rostered without twenty email attachments; and the office needs to know, at a glance, whose licence is about to lapse before that officer is rostered on a shift. Some of that paperwork is genuinely sensitive: tax file numbers, bank details, and background-check documents, not the kind of thing that belongs in a shared inbox.

THE APPROACH

We built two things that share one identity: a public site that converts visitors into enquiries, and a permission-locked back office behind one sign-in page. Aurelius came to us first; we scoped the work, sent a proposal, and worked through several client meetings on revisions, custom photography, and branding matched to their own visual identity, with that same rhythm of updates continuing after launch.

  • The public site (aureliusservices.com.au) carries the services, industries served, client testimonials, a WA Corporate Security Risk Index research piece, an FAQ, and a two-mode quote form.
  • Officers pick one of two onboarding tracks by PIN: Onboard Core (six steps, for employed officers) or Onboard Plus (four steps, for subcontractors). The form autosaves, so closing the browser mid-form loses nothing.
  • From the Operations Console, the Aurelius office reviews every document, marks it Verified or Action needed with a note the officer sees immediately, tracks a watchlist of expiring licences, and exports a complete officer file as one ZIP for audits.
  • Delivery: Rehma led the project, Aiman built the site, Faheem the backend, and Saad the AI-assisted review tooling inside the console, hosted on Azure.
Every time a staff member views a sensitive detail, the system records who looked and when.

WHAT WE BUILT

What we built.
All one connected system.

A public site built to convert

Services, industries served, client testimonials, an in-house WA Corporate Security Risk Index research piece, an FAQ, and a two-mode quote form, all built to turn a visit into a qualified enquiry.

Two-track officer onboarding

Officers pick Onboard Core (six steps, for employed officers) or Onboard Plus (four steps, for subcontractors) by PIN. They upload a photo, eleven licence and compliance documents, and sign and return five agreements. The form autosaves, so nothing is lost if they close the browser halfway through.

An operations console built for accountability

Every officer's file, searchable and filterable. Documents are approved or rejected with a note the officer sees on their own screen. A watchlist flags licences expiring soon, and a complete officer file exports as one ZIP for audits or client requests.

Security that matches what's at stake

Two-factor authentication on every operations account, tax file numbers and bank details encrypted at rest, and an access log recording every time someone views sensitive data. Officers can only ever see their own file, and uploaded documents have no guessable public links.

An ongoing partnership, not a one-off build

SyntricTech remains Aurelius's sole technology partner, maintaining the site and platform while running their Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn as an active monthly engagement.

THE RESULT

SyntricTech’s published project breakdown reports delivery from concept to deployment in five weeks, fourteen administrative hours saved per week, and $700 AUD per month in eliminated subscriptions and tools, replacing what had been scattered across several different messaging platforms. These are company-reported figures; the source does not specify the measurement window. Beyond the build itself, SyntricTech remains Aurelius’s only technology partner: we maintain the site and platform and run their social media as an ongoing monthly engagement.
